The series Polskie Dokumenty Dyplomatyczne (Polish Diplomatic Documents) was established in 2005 by the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), which is an independent research Institute operating outside the framework of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Polish academic institutions.

Polish Diplomatic Documents

Description of scope: In 2005 PISM decided to publish volumes of documents pertaining to the history of the Second Republic of Poland (1918–1945) and Poland during the communist era (1945–1989). Since the establishment of the series 29 volumes have appeared, covering both historical periods.
